Born in 1982, Ramses Radi begun studying photography at the age of 17 at a High
School in Madrid. At the age of 20 years old he then started a degree in Philosophy (Autonomic University from Madrid), which he was studying for 5 years but at the same time, he combined these studies with a course in Professional photography in 2001 in EFTI Spanish School of Image, 2004 private Master in photojournalism by Cover photo Agency, 200 (Madrid) Film and direction of photography in Septima Ars 2008(Madrid).
In 2005 Ramses came out with his first pictures in Martial Arts Magazines like “Cross Combat” or “El Budoka” taking the portrait of international fighters like Fabricio Werdum.
It was in this same year when he created and ran his own photofestival in Madrid for
3 years called “Secession Flash and Music”. Selecting and projecting artist throughout
an annual exhibition In 2007 he went to New York city from where he was doing some journalism and coveringdifferent events.
Back to Spain in 2008 he was the official photographer of the “Contemporary Scene
Festival” in Madrid. He won the Second prize of Videography Creations at the University (Autonomic from Madrid) as a Director. He then began to explore the film industry and became the Director of photography for some music-clips while experimenting with 16mm film and HD. In 2009 he won the second prize of Videography Creations at the University Carlos III from Madrid as a DOP.
In 2010 moved to Vancouver for a year and started publishing fashion Editorial in many
international magazines and selling landscapes to some galleries in Canada. The
Editorials came out in countries like USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Netherlands, Italy,
Japan and Spain. In 2011 At the end of this year, Ramses moved to England and opened his studio in Brighton, East Sussex. Publishing on several magazines worldwide and working also as a photographer for actors and independent designers.
Working also for the University of Madrid and making documentaries about philosophy
and portraits of famous philosophers in Spain.
In 2014 he joined the Vogue E-commerce platform developing a landscape portfolio
2015. Currently Ramses is working in Shanghai for a Luxury retail company called
