Q. Hi Shakeh, great pleasure to host you here at www.scorpiojin.com. It’s been quite an interesting year for you, both as an individual singer as well as a member of TRAYDKRAFT. How would you describe 2013?
A. As an artist, I've learned a lot about myself from 2013. My sound and style has changed drastically last year by experimenting different styles and genres. In turned, I've developed a new direction as a solo artist in 2014..
Q. One of your biggest highlights of the year was your recent release with George Acosta, “These Dreams”. Tell us about your experience working with George, and do you have any future works with him planned for 2014?
Q. You are now a member of the music group, TRAYDKRAFT, based in Los Angeles. Most of the group’s music is focused on Drum & Bass and Dubstep. Must’ve been a major musical transition for you… what inspired you to undertake this project?
Q. Where do you think you can get even better?
Q. What’s the biggest joy of working with the rest of team at TRAYDKRAFT?
A. It was great working with George Acosta because he allowed me to completely be creative with my writing and singing. He held no boundaries with me. We do plan on another collaboration.
A. Constant collaborations, I believe, will make any artist better. When you exchange creativity together, you enable yourself to learn from one another.

Q. What do you consider to be your dream collaboration?
A. Anyone who is driven, talented, willing to experiment, honest and respectful is a dream to work with.
A. Constant creativity and the love for all genres resulted in TRAYDKRAFT. TRAYDKRAFT is an alter ego of ours which allows us to put out music without conflicting our own individual brands.
Q. With your music supported by major names, played at events such as EDC, and included in compilations such as In Search of Sunrise, do you feel as if you’ve finally “made it” as an artist?
A. I don't think I'll ever feel that I've "made it" because I'm constantly pushing myself and wanting to excel my craft. My mind is alway thinking forward and my eyes are set on the horizon. Don't get me wrong though - I'm grateful for all the support and love I've been receiving for my hard work. It's nice to see it pay off. However, I'll admit I got a little giddy when I found out Armin Van Buuren included "These Dreams" in his worldwide syndicated radio show 'A State Of Trance' - the very first episode of 2014 (episode 646).
Q. And as a co-owner of Boiler House Records, what has that experience been like?
A. Boiler House Records is a boutique indie label with select artists and releases. It's nice to see our artists grow in today's market from their very first release with us. It makes me proud.
Q. Tell us a weird, fun fact about yourself.
A. I do a great Cher impersonation.
Q. A quote or last words for those in need of inspiration
A. Performing our songs live together for one. Also, the fact that we're all close friends makes it special and rewarding.

A. Thank you so much for the constant support and love with my musical journey. It's touching to know that I've connected with people I don't even know across the globe simply by wearing my heart upon my sleeve. Much love to you all!
