I am currently working on my artist album. It will be about 15 songs and I've been working on it for a year now. It is a never ending project but it will be huge.
It's been great. Major radio play...people loved it and most importantly they all dance to it when i play it!
Q. And in the studio? What things are you currently working on for release later this year?
I always have a ton of energy for my work....it's why I do what I do.
Q. You've got quite a few performances coming up in Tunisia, Canada, and the US over the next two months. How's your energy ahead of this?
Q. Last month you released "Together" under Black Hole Recordings. What's the feedback been like?
"I never give up... I am relentless..."
Canada and Toronto has been on fire the past couple years. It is amazing to see all of the artists who have come out of that city. I am proud to be from there.
Q. What would you say is the factor that has attributed most to your success?
Q. You're one of the more experienced female DJ's and producers in EDM. How has the industry changed since you first began to pursue a career in music?
It's changed just as much as I have. Everything evolves...it's gone from underground to commercial and back to underground again... really interesting journey it's been. I am sticking to my underground roots right now.
Q. You've performed with several well known artists such as Deadmau5 and Funkagenda. What have you learned from these artists, and what do you believe they have learned from you?
Q. Both yourself and Deadmau5 are Canadian producers who have had significant success. What's your take on the talent coming out of Canada today?
Q. Where do you believe you can improve as an artist? Why?
I can always manage my time better...that one is tough.. I think i'm ok at it.. I do my best. I can always work harder in the studio. I try to push myself as much as possible.
I have learned a lot of different things from both....from business decisions to studio tricks..... they are both people that are close to me.
Do what they say you can't :) this is the story of my life.
